1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Binary & Bricks Pvt Ltd ("Binary & Bricks", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores and protects information when you visit binaryandbricks.com, fill in our contact forms, use our mobile apps, or otherwise interact with our services.

2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to deliver our services and respond to enquiries.
- Information you provide — name, work email, phone number, company name, project details and any other content you share via our contact form, WhatsApp, email or phone.
- Information from our apps — anonymous usage analytics (screens visited, feature usage, crash reports) for the construction calculators and other mobile apps we publish. We do not collect personal identifiers from app users unless you explicitly create an account.
- Information collected automatically — IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited and timestamps. This is collected via cookies and analytics tools (see Section 6).
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and send the proposal, demo or content you asked for.
- To deliver the services or software you engage us for.
- To send occasional updates or newsletters — only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve our apps, website and overall service quality.
- To meet legal, regulatory or contractual obligations.
4. Lawful basis (DPDP Act 2023 / GDPR)
We process your data on the basis of your consent (when you submit a form, click WhatsApp, or download an app), legitimate business interests (responding to your enquiries, improving our services) and contract (delivering paid engagements). For users in the European Economic Area, we process data on equivalent GDPR-compatible lawful bases.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share information only with:
- Trusted service providers such as our CRM, email hosting, cloud and analytics partners (Google Workspace, Google Analytics, Meta, hosting providers). These providers process data on our instructions and under written confidentiality / data-processing agreements.
- Authorities, if disclosure is required by law, court order or to protect our legal rights.
- An acquirer in the event of a business merger, acquisition or restructuring — your data continues to be protected by this policy.
6. Cookies and tracking

7. Data retention
We keep enquiry data for as long as is reasonably necessary to serve you, plus the period required by Indian tax, accounting and contractual laws (typically up to 7 years). Marketing email lists are retained until you unsubscribe. App analytics data is retained for up to 24 months and is anonymised.
8. Data security
We follow industry-standard administrative, technical and physical safeguards — encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, encrypted at-rest storage on our cloud providers, regular access reviews and staff training. No system on the internet can be 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data.
9. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and applicable laws elsewhere, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
- File a grievance — contact our Grievance Officer (details below) and we will respond within 30 days.

10. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International data transfers
Our primary servers are hosted in India. Some of our service providers (e.g. Google, Meta) may process data outside India. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on this page or by email if you have an active engagement with us. The "Effective from" date at the top reflects the latest version.
